Care Net could not function without the army of volunteers serving alongside our staff as we strive to reach women and men who are at their most vulnerable. Thank you for being willing to give of your time and expertise to serve in this way.

Clothing Closet Helper

This person helps sort and organize clothing and baby/toddler/mommy items in our clothing closet. This team meets every Tuesday morning from 10am until noon or 1pm. 

Pregnancy Consultant

These women meet with new or returning clients who come to us for pregnancy tests. They identify the client's particular needs, assess their risk factors, and assist them with locating resources. This is a trained position and requires a long-term commitment of 3 hours per week. This person also provides general clinic support during her down time.

Medical Mobile Unit Pregnancy Consultant

This person is an Intake Consultant who trains in the base office in order to serve on our medical mobile unit on our trips to outlying communities, such as Seeley Lake, Ronan, and Hamilton. This is a trained position and is long-term commitment, requiring a 7-8 hour day every other week. 

Social Media Expert

This person (male or female) helps us develop and post up-to-date and relevant material onto our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram). He/She also assists in reviewing the website to help us maintain up-to-date material online.

Life Steps Mentor

This man/woman will meet one-on-one or virtually with our clients who are pregnant or parenting and will walk them through our Life Steps Earn-While-You-Learn curriculum. Clients can enter this program upon learning they are pregnant and graduate when their baby turns 1 year old. This is a trained position and requires a long-term commitment of 3 hours per week. 

Office Support

This person (male or female) assists the Office Administrator with data entry, filing, making copies, putting together mailers, and other general office tasks. This position requires a commitment of 3 hours per week. This person also provides general clinic support during his/her down time.

Marketing and Networking Support

This person (male or female) helps us create and maintain community contacts, raises awareness and support, and alerts the community to our services through the development of marketing resources, posting flyers, and networking. 
 

Grant Writer

This person (male or female) helps Care Net identify specific grants and assists in the writing of grants to raise needed funds for specific project or outreach endeavors.

Board Member

This person has a vested interest in seeing Care Net succeed as a business and as a ministry and has demonstrable skills and experience that will help us achieve those goals. Board members meet regularly, volunteer at fund-raising events, in raising community awareness of Care Net's services, and in helping us reach and network with potential supporters. This position requires a 3-year commitment.
 

Student Outreach Coordinator

This person assists with the development and maintenance of a pro-life student group on the University of Montana campus, which would be affiliated with Care Net to recruit volunteers, reach prospective clients, and reach the campus with life-embracing resources.

Healthy Relationship Education Coordinator

This person would network with local educational entities to provide free, healthy-relationship presentations that focus on abstinence, the creation of healthy romantic relationships, and achieving long-term goals. 

Medical Support

This person has a nursing degree or CNA and works with our Nurse Manager to assist her in providing medical care, including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI-screenings, and referral services. This person also provides general clinic support during her down time.

Life Skills Instructor

This person offers periodic group classes to help our clients learn practical life skills and parenting skills. 

General Clinic Support

This person is a jack-of-all-trades, helping with the smooth functioning of the clinic in a non-medical capacity. This person cleans, does laundry, helps with organization, assists with office duties, makes phone calls, and/or writes/edits pieces for the newsletter, etc. Those training to be Intake Consultants, Office Support, Medical Support, or Life Steps Consultants also function in this way during their down time. 

Blog Coordinator

This person would write articles and source additional contributing writers with the heart to connect Care Net with our local community.

Below is a list of various ways to serve with Care Net. Please look through the list and identify what interests you the most, but keep in mind that this list is not exhaustive. There are many ways to serve Care Net and our clients, and we encourage you to think outside the box and share your ideas and particular interests with us. Use the contact form on this page to let us know what you're thinking and/or to ask us additional questions. You are also welcome to stop by our office during business hours to pick up a volunteer packet and application. We will ask you to fill it out and then drop the application back by. Once we have had the chance to review it, we will contact you to schedule an in-person discussion.
